Hi, I’m Heather Fraser, the founder and owner of Pack Power Yoga. I founded Pack Power Yoga to create a supportive and welcoming community in Raleigh and its southern suburbs, centered on connection, personal growth and empowerment through yoga. Inspired by the collaborative spirit and teamwork amongst wolves in a pack, our passionate teachers provide accountability and support. We strive to inspire each member of our community to pursue their unique journey and reach their fullest potential together. Our classes provide a welcoming, no-gimmick atmosphere, set to badass music, that will inspire you to push your boundaries and discover your strength.
As Pack Power Yoga launches in 2025, you’ll see us at festivals and pop-up events in Raleigh, Apex, Cary, Garner and Fuquay-Varina. We’ll also offer private and small group classes throughout the Triangle. As we grow, our goal is to open a state-of-art infrared heated power yoga studio on this side of Raleigh. We’ll also expand our offerings, including retreats, pre/post-natal classes, workshops and teacher trainings, while giving back to local initiatives like animal rescues.
A bit about me and my yoga journey. I grew up in St. Louis, MO as a gymnast and made my way to William & Mary for college. After graduating, my career in consulting and the tech-start up world led me to Washington, D.C., Chicago and 10 years in New York City before relocating to Raleigh with my husband, daughter, and soul-dog 5 years ago. We’ve since added a second dog to our pack.
Though my gymnast days were behind me, while living in New York City, I sought an athletic routine that would bring balance and relief to the chaos of the corporate world, and give me an opportunity to reclaim my handstand (and have some fun while doing it). I walked around the corner from my apartment and tried out Lyons Den Power Yoga. It was there that I discovered the growth, empowerment and community that is all possible through yoga (in addition to those handstands!!!). It became my second home.
During my time at Lyons Den, I completed my 200 hr. and 300 hr. teacher trainings, obtained training in hands-on assisting, participated in numerous workshops, and had the opportunity to study and practice with some of the top yoga and meditation teachers in the world. After practicing and teaching through my pregnancy and having my own little lady, I went back and got certified to teach pre/post natal power yoga at Home Power Yoga in New Jersey in 2023. I’ve been teaching group classes, private sessions and assisting workshops for the past several years a local studio on the north side of Raleigh.
Nearly 3 years ago, we bought our home south of Lake Wheeler, where Raleigh, Apex, Cary, Garner and Fuquay-Varina all converge. This booming area needs a fresh and exciting addition to our community. It needs a team of people (and someday, a studio!) that prioritizes genuine connection, personal growth, and community at the heart of every class. I hope you’ll join me in creating this new PACK that will come together to practice, challenge, support and empower one another to pursue their dreams.
